WHEEL THROWING


 

Wheel throwing is a ceramic technique with the process of shaping clay on the pottery wheel. The wheel operates electrically with a pedal to control the speed. This technique is typically a quicker process compared to Hand Building.

 

Basic Wheel Throwing – 10 sessions

$600.00

Duration: 2 hours per session
Fee includes: Clay (6kg), Glazes & Firing of works.

Tools and other equipment are provided.

Class schedule

Monday to Friday: 9.30am to 11.30am
Saturday: 9.30am to 11.30am, 1.00pm to 3.00pm, 4.00pm to 6.00pm
Sunday: 10.00am to 12.00noon
Closed on public holidays

All course fees paid are valid for a period of 4 months from date of first lesson. Above course fees with effect from 1st April 2026.

All completed, fired works must be collected from SMK studio within 1 year from your last lesson.
